Patricia Escorza-Jaime was born and raised in Northeast Los Angeles. She has been an educator for the past 25 years in Pasadena, California where she currently lives. Patricia recently decided to move on from her role within the public school system to focus solely on creating picture books for children and sharing her faith online and within her community.
Patricia is proud of her Mexican heritage and being born into a family of panaderos (bakers). She has had a lifelong love of pan dulce (sweet bread) and has even used it to create a mantra for her life’s mission:
